About the role: Reporting to the Executive Director Shared Services, the Chief Sales Officer builds sales and drives more revenue to the business. The role oversees and leads the sales and business development team to meet and exceed budgeted group revenue goals. It is responsible for managing the customer relationship management (CRM) tool, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners to drive sales growth through effective sales strategies and customer service. About you: You’ll bring considerable leadership experience in high level sales while working in a fast paced, dynamic business environment. You have sound experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering or mining sector would be preferred, but we’re open to other exceptional sales leaders. Your extensive experience in developing and driving implementation of innovative sales strategies at a senior level is highly desired. You bring sound analytical skills and experience with in-depth market research and performance analysis. You have a tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing or related discipline. You’ll be self-motivated and goal oriented. Your ability to build and maintain key customer relationships across a group of businesses will be key. You’ll have flexibility to travel within Australia to meet business needs.
