An opportunity for Survey Technicians and Surveyors to join our expanding East Coast team based in Sydney. The role will focus on civil, road, rail, construction, cadastral and remote survey and measurement works.Your jobYou will undertake a variety of surveying work as per clients’ requests. You will manage the day-to-day elements of your projects: client interface, fieldwork, calculations, safety and quality assurance of your work.Key Responsibilities:Conduct survey tasks for a large western Sydney infrastructure project. Next 3-4 yearsPrepare, review, and interpret detailed survey plans, drawings, and reports.Ensure all surveying work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and project specifications.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to provide accurate data and support project planning and execution.Perform site inspections and resolve any issues related to survey data or project specifications.Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to address survey-related inquiries and requirements.Monitor project progress and provide updates on survey-related activities and milestones.Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.  Your skills/qualificationsIn line with our philosophy, you’ll have a "no problems just solutions" attitude. You’ll also need:Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or Tafe equivalent.Relevant certifications (e.g., Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (e.g., SSSI) are preferred.Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and practices.Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g., Total Stations, GPS, CAD software).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
