WA Regional Project CoordinatorReporting to the WA Regional Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our WA Regional Team to assist with the coordination and technical support for the field survey teams on large FIFO projects in regional locations.This role is primarily operational, providing support to our site teams. Additionally, it will involve the coordination of new project start-ups, ensuring the project complies with our HSEQ Management Systems. This role will also provide opportunities for you to develop your commercial skills, being involved with the Tender process – preparing EOI’s, quotes, and safety/project management plans.This role will require collaboration with our Technical Team. You will be involved with project audits in addition to updating our procedures to be in line with the current technologies we have in our business and industry best practices.The successful candidate will also be required to provide leave coverage for the WA Regional Operations Manager, in addition to supporting our Pilbara Operations, as required.While this role is Perth-based, the successful candidate will be required to work FIFO to support project activities throughout the year (non-continuous).Our successful candidate will ideally possess the following:Advanced Diploma or equivalent in surveying and/or business managementExcellent written and spoken communication with good interpersonal skillsExperience in a variety of surveying disciplines, including conventional surveying for survey control networks, civil, rail, and SMP worksStrong 12d skillsPeople Management experiencePrevious experience working, and/or managing/coordinating personnel, on FIFO projects in the Australian Resource SectorAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAt Land Surveys we believe that our people are our most valuable asset, and ensure the support, experiences, and development that they receive is second to none.
